"Not exactly gift-ready"
I sent this as a gift, so I was hoping it would look at least a little presentable. The box was plain and kind of messy, which was a fun surprise considering the price. It did arrive, so there’s that, but definitely not the nice gifting experience I expected.

"I ordered from Spoonful of Comfort…"
I ordered from Spoonful of Comfort as a recovery gift, and I don’t know... I was a little underwhelmed by the food choices. A lot of it felt like variations of the same soup, bread, and cookie combo, just mixed around slightly. It wasn’t bad, and I do think the idea is really thoughtful, but if the person you’re sending it to is picky or has dietary restrictions, there isn’t a ton to choose from. For the price, I guess I expected a bit more variety. I might use it again if I needed something quickly, but I’d really like to see more meals and side options.

"Handled the mix-up really well"
My order ended up having a delivery mix-up and I was stressed about it. I emailed Spoonful of Comfort and they replied quickly, explained what happened, and sent out a replacement without making it a whole ordeal. There was just something about it... the way they handled everything felt really calm and thoughtful. No hassle at all, and I’d definitely order again.

"Way more hassle to reheat than it should’ve been"
I thought this was going to be a quick heat-and-eat situation, but nope, it turned into a whole annoying process. The instructions weren’t very clear, and some parts came out hot while other parts were still not heated through. By the time I finally got it ready, I was already irritated and it just didn’t feel worth the effort. Definitely not ordering this again.

"Nutrition info was super easy to check"
I looked at the nutrition info before ordering it was really easy to read. The calories and ingredients were right there, not hidden in some random spot—oh, and that made choosing what to get way less stressful for me.

I just tried placing an order the whole checkout process was annoying. The site kept making me redo things, and I couldn’t tell if my info was saving or not. Maybe it was just my most recent experience, but it left a bad impression because something like checking out should be quick and easy. After a few tries, I just gave up.

I placed my order earlier in the week and got an email once it shipped, then another one when it was delivered a couple days later. It was easy to keep track of everything from start to finish. My only small complaint is that I wish the first update had come a bit sooner after I ordered.

"Wish there were more options for the price"
The food was okay, but I felt like the diet-friendly options were limited, especially considering what we paid. My Spoonful of Comfort order showed up with the wrong items , and something I paid for was missing completely . I checked the receipt against what was in the box , and it just didn’t line up . It was frustrating because this was supposed to be a gift . I can understand small mistakes now and then , but getting the order right feels like the basics .

"Helpful to choose the delivery day"
I sent a Spoonful of Comfort gift to my aunt, being able to pick the delivery day was really helpful. I knew she’d be home that day, so it just made sense to schedule it for then instead of hoping it showed up at a good time.
It arrived on the day I chose, so no complaints there. I do think it would be nice if they had a few more nearby date options, but overall it was easy to use and worked the way I needed it to.

"Nice idea, but delivery felt hit or miss"
I ordered from Spoonful of Comfort for a sick friend, and while the package did eventually show up and everything was packed nicely, the shipping took longer than I expected. For the price, I really thought it would get there faster. It’s one of those things that seems like it works when it wants to, which is frustrating when you’re trying to send something time-sensitive. Not the worst experience, but definitely not as smooth as I hoped.

"I liked that I could add a..."
I liked that I could add a little note and pick from a few options, it made it feel more personal. Some of the choices were kinda limited though... still nice overall, I just wish there were more ways to customize it

"Soup Didn’t Taste Fresh"
I stopped in for soup because I was in the mood for something warm after running a few errands, and it wasn’t really what I expected. It seemed kind of old, like it had been sitting around for a while, and the flavor just wasn’t fresh. I was a little disappointed because I usually don’t need anything fancy when it comes to soup, but this one missed the mark for me.

I sent my mom some soup after her surgery, and she told me it felt like a hug... which made me tear up a little. I couldn’t be there with her in person, so being able to send something warm and comforting meant a lot. To both of us, really. Just really grateful.

"Pretty worth it, honestly..."
